Release date for books 1 to 6 of Gladiator Boy is 16th July 2009. Hodder have created a website to beef it all up, although as I write this the site’s still being developed.

These scrawls are for Andrew Cope’s upcoming Spy Pups : Treasure Quest, a rip roaring tale of smugglers, bad weather and irresponsible fiscal projection. Actually, it’s better than that sounds. It’s great working on another episode in this series!

The hub. The industrial core. Some call it the rear bedroom. Notable items here include Amy’s rocking sheep, a Smiths poster stolen from my brother, and a neatly folded Guernsey flag awaiting its first airing at some cosy music festival.

This blog will eat itself

No doubt it will, but let’s see how things go for a while anyway. This blog is intended to post my own ongoing work and details on publishing dates etc, as my burgeoning empire takes over the planet.

I’m tempted to start off on the wrong foot and include as my first news item the fact that my blog has got underway, and possibly that I mention that fact in my first entry. Yep that’s sort of what I meant, sort of spiraling in on itself already isn’t it. In the meantime here’s something I drew yesterday :

UPDATE: Publisher’s approval has been given. Even better only minimal alterations are required for the whole lot. Consequently I see a marmite-strewn-toast-and-coffee celebration about now-ish.
